Voodoo is in its self a Synthesis of various influences, which isn't chaotic, but cohesive of overall system; it is open ended & therefore able to fluidly Evolve. The writer William Gibson who kicked off the Cyberpunk Genre with his book Neuromancer is most intrigued with Voodoo for he percieves its practices & philosophy surviving into an age when technology becomes ever more integrated into human society due to its Symbolic Language, which can easily be equated with Cybernetic processes.
The structure of Voodoo was put together by individuals who had an in depth understanding of the mechanism of Consciousness, who recognised other Symbolic parallels with their own to also assimiliate. for example, one has the Loa, Erzulie 'Freda' Dahomey; Freda is the Norse/Saxon Goddess Freyja/Freo while the Loa, Ghede is the Norse/Saxon deity Odin/Woden, which have been fused with the African; because this happened quite early it would indicate that there were some European's who still adhered to the Elder faith whom came to an understanding with the African & both occupying Haiti at a time when the Slave trade was still in full swing while under the heel of Catholicism.
Voodoo also incorporated the Native American traditions of the original inhabitants of Haiti as well as Hindu Philosophy for the Loa, Ghede is a complex character of recognition that Odin/Woden is also the same as Siva. There is a cross over from the Loa, Papa Legba & Ghede, which also refers to Odin/Woden for the Loa Papa Legba is very much associated with the Peristyle of Axis-Mundi, which the ancient Norse/Saxon's called Yggdrassill/Irminsul.
One also has the Loa riding one as a Horse, which one to also find in Indonesian Shamanic practice & Shamanism in general, especially in Asia. One to find that Shamanic practice recognises that certain Drum beats & ritualistic Rhythmic Chanting induces Trance states of varying types depending upon ones Emotive state of being, whereby one has different Loa which are accorded their own Drum beats & Ritual Chants; it is this Shamanic understanding, which makes Voodoo far superior in many respects than those practices one to find in Western Occultism, which are merely an extension of Judaeo-Christian ritualistic Church practices & Priest-craft one to also find pervading Wicca, Asatru & the neo-Celtic practice let alone European Paganism in general.
Odin/Woden has many by-names of alternate guise & each of which is a Mask for one of his other names is 'Grimnir', the Masked one, which means he can be anyone he chooses to be of whatever Race he desires, whereby he links them all, for we all share the same fate of Death, hence one has the Loa, Ghede. Odin/Woden is often depicted standing at a Cross-Roads at whose midst is the Yggdrassill-Irminsul, hence one has the Peristyle & the Loa, Papa Legba. Odin/Woden rides an Eight-Legged-Horse hence one has ones self ridden as a Horse into Trance but such can be terrifying to look upon by the observer whereby one has the word 'Ygg,' the Terrifying One!
The South-African Bushman of the Kalahari are adepts of Trance, whose Trance states are induced by ritualistic Chanting, Dances & percussion music, which leads to an arousal of of what the Kalahari Bushman call 'Num,' that the Hindu/Tantric practitioners of India know as the 'Kundalini'. The Num boils up within the tube of ones Spine (Peristyle) & then hits the back of ones head, which induces (Trance) Kia. When going into Trance it can be quite terrifying to observe by the onlookers for the individual within the state of Trance starts to thrash about like a 'Fish' upon the floor or to slither as a 'Serpent,' due to the sensation that one is swimming in the Spirit world as a Fish whose Consciousness is Amphibious of nature.
Those who frequent modern Trance Dance clubs attempt to induce the same experience via Rhythmic Music & Dance, which they call the 'Rush;' the Rush is that of the 'Num' arising along the Brain-Stem of ones Neck hitting the back of ones Head whereupon inducing 'Kia.' Odin/Woden is said to have Hung him self within the World Tree of Yggdrassill, which is a symbolic reference to the 'Rush,' while the World-Tree represents ones Neural-Net of nervous System emanating from ones Spine of Irminsul-Peristyle.
The Dogon speak of the Nommo, an Amphibious being, which is a reference to a high Adept of Trance & when experiencing such can be terrifying to look upon, which leads one to the Sumerian/Babylonian Oannes. The Star Sirius acts as a key-time for Trance induction in regards to the cycles of the seasons under the watchful eye of the Sun, which invariably leads one into the ancient Egyptian pantheon of Ennead & that of the Zodiac at whose midst is the Solar-Cross for it is upon this Cross that the Adept sacrifices him-self into Trance!
It is via Trance & engineered Lucid Dreams that one can access the Quantum reality where one can access Information pertaining to ancient events of the far distant past or that of Futures beckoning back, whereupon one finds strange cave paintings referring to symbols, which look unnervingly Modern or that of a frieze at Abydos depicting Helicopters, Planes & Tanks let alone that of the Upanishads speaking about Vimana's & terrible Weapons describing what one can now understand as Atomic warfare.
It is via controlled Trance that one can access supernatural abilities such as ones body being unharmed by sharp instruments, wounds miraculously healing instantaneously, over coming the affects of severe heat or cold & that of other phenomena to manifest such as Healing others. There are Trance-Smithy practitioners in Indonesia who handle red hot metal within their bare hands without being affected by its heat & when white hot they kiss the soft metal leaving their lip imprints upon its surface, which they work into ritual knives. In Voodoo when one is in Trance, especially when one is being ridden by such Loa as Ghede one is tested by drinking a deadly concoction of Rum & red hot burning spices to make sure one is not faking the possession whereupon if one is unharmed one is indeed being ridden by the Loa!
It is via Trance & engineered Lucid Dreams one can contact other forms of Intelligence, whether they be of this world or another, which the Aboriginal Australian calls the Dreamtime from where everything stems from; it is the quantum realm of the Dream where one can enter into Ecological-Symbiosis to know that the Earth & the Multiverse is an organism as well as to experience Inter-Species Communication in order to Shape-Shift into other forms becoming as a Hawk, Wolf, Tiger, Shark, Snake, Tree, Mushroom etc as well as innumerable other forms so as to know their Intelligence to commune with. From within the Quantum realms of the Dream one can commune with the stars & far off galaxies to know of other universes leaping into Alternate selves for one is beyond the constraints of Space-Time. It is this ability which facilitated Human Evolution to go beyond its self & is a legacy, which belongs to us all!
The Voodoo Veves of symbols via which one can evoke the Loa are very similar to those utilised within the Goetia; however those of the Goetia are commonly associated with what are termed Demons, but this is a total misunderstanding for the name Demon is derived from the word Daemon & that of Genius one to know otherwise as a Genie. The Daemon represents Information derived from ones Ancestral 'Past' while Angels (Angeloi) are associated with ones 'Future', the interference pattern generated by both creates ones Eternal Moment of Present. This is the reason why Daemon's are often depicted as Animal Hybrids for they represent Ancestral memories, which wind back through Evolution linking one with other Life-Forms upon this planet as well as that of other worlds.
The Voodoo Loa are perceived as being the Ancestral Spirits of the African tradition in the main but due to the in depth synthesis & consummate engineered fusion of other inflluences, which are all of Shamanic source Voodoo has become pan-global in its orientation.
Voodoo hid its self behind Christian symbolism in order to avoid being persecuted, which in time it will eventually overcome & consume the oppressor within its synthesis. One also finds that the Elder faith of Europe did likewise, but much was forgotten over time especially after the persecutions of Witches, which led to the genocide of Witch burnings & that of a systematic destruction of the Elder faith in Europe by the Church.
What little is left over of the Elder Faith of Europe shares many similarities with the African but then both are Shamanically orientated whom share much with other Shamanic cultures who are also similar of inclination the world over of Spiritual Impulse, which unites us all!
However, there be those who do not want you to see it for they have a Religious & Political agenda of Centralist One-World-Order, which has sought to eliminate the Elder Shamanic connections between peoples the world over & in doing so has exterminated many of ones Ancestors in order to destroy the 'Past' to thence Demonise & in turn Brainwash ones Present whereby Now owning ones 'Future' to shackle to their own Fascist orientated Belief structure of Angeloi dancing around an UR Zigguart of Skulls!
In order to offset their Control one finds the Shamanic Source & that of the World-Wide ancient Connection of Spiritual-Impulse between peoples whereby then to disempower their Religious Brainwash & hence negate their Politics of Dominance!
In other words, by finding the Source one becomes as the Ocean while the Triad around Oily UR Ziggurat will find themselves as being but three drops of water drying up in the desert of their own making whereby one then absorbs them for one is then the Elder arisen from ones Dismemberment, Thrice-Born of Evolutionary leap in Consciousness wearing, the Horns of a Shaman!
That is what the UR Triad Fears most... Everybody waking Up from their Brainwash!!!
