Dear Mark,
Thank you very much for your elaborate explanation of your goals and your experiences trying to get published.Whatever happens with putting your work in print, which would be a significant achievement,I would think it cannot replace but needs to complement your splendid on-line work. The two formats are different and do not provide the same kind of value.
I am organising aspects of your work into categories, beginning with statements by you describing your goals and methods. Can I use your letters to me along those lines, making them public? I would also like to use your work on ArtZone. If you have anything on any other site,I would be pleased to know about it.
I have sen the enlargement of the Asmoday work and it is very beautiful.I admire your scholarship and your dedication to both European folklore, spirituality and history and to intercultural study.
I wonder why you seem to have two writing styles-a conventional one, where you follow the rules of the language and another where you dont.I think, though, that the one in which you dont is particularly powerful, even thouigh the conventional one is easier to read.I wonder if the great thing would not be to integrate both styles beceause the unconventional style is so loaded with energy and power it is somethinmg else!
What do you think about approaching publishers again, possibly poublishing a book while continuing to develop your site?I would like to suggest Princeton University Press, which has a sophisticated Mind,Body,Spirit line.Let me know what you think.
All the best
Toyin
