For a time in youth I was inspired by an idea set forth by a Poet, whose name I cannot recollect at the moment whom assumed different personas in alignment with those differing Emotive qualities ascribed to Astrological Star-Signs in order to act out while writing. Some Russian scientists also utilised a similar technique of constructing alternate Personas in order to get their Hypnotic subjects to believe in as themselves, which the Scientists found initiated speeded up Learning Abilities as well as other phenomena to observe such as Synchronicities, which seemed to stabilise their assumed Personas via a Feed-Back loop..

The technique is well known of In Shamanistic Practice, whereby the Shaman assumes an Alternate Persona of Mask via Trance or Dream in order to access other abilities beyond his ordinary Persona. The Shamanist Technique can be perceived in Tibetan Buddhist Iconography, which was influenced by Bon Po Shamanism where one has a Buddha of 'Alternate Persona' to assume, who is in Sexual union with his Feminine 'Shakti', whom symbolises his Subconscious Mind. One can observe this process when assuming an Alternate Persona in a Lucid Dream. One will verily find that the Dreaming Material reflects back ones assumption of Alternate Guise. The Shakti of Tibetan Buddhist Iconography would thereby represent the Dream while the Buddha she is in Sexual Congress with would be ones self as the Buddha.

The more intense the Dream (Shakti) experience is, it will then imprint ones (Buddha) Neural Net of Nervous System for ones Nervous System cannot tell the difference between a Real or Imagined Event, whereby one can quite literally 'Serial Reincarnate' while Alive, which is the meaning behind 'Thrice Born' (Trismegestus) Hermes for one can Rebirth ones self.

In Magick ones 'Imagination' is an important tool for if one strongly Imagines an Event to Visualise it will hence Imprint ones Nervous System.

Your idea for a write up of 'Book Proposal' sounds rather Intriguing, which does gather my interest, hence to most thankfully ask you to Proceed; however, I do wonder how the Publishers will perceive my Work for it be rather risky in relation to its integral Erotic/Occult content, which also covers areas of Cross-Correlation that a number of established Cliques are adverse to...

I do have other works floating around the Net of prior experiments, one of which was that of some Articles published by a website indulging its self in the works of H.P Lovecraft, but alas I cannot recollect their address along with others. An Occult Short Story of mine was published by 'Mike Philbin' on his 'Blood Horror' website as well as in Anthology Hard Print Book form entitled 'Little Red'

I was also writing to the Physicist Jack Sarfatti, whereupon some of my letters can be found on his Physics Forum at a time when I was co-working with an individual who turned out to be a Repetitive Back-Stabbing Ingrate; although in retrospect, if such to have not happened I would not have had said present Website, which in its self is a story of Synchronicity & of other affairs Arcane of hue.. I was also in communication with other Physicists, Authors & Philosophers for I had been put on a Private list of communication after imaginatively interpreting a letter from Naval-Intelligence, which had been forwarded on to me after Sarfatti received my Article entitled 'Sleipnir-Project', which covers Time-Travel; I then found my self in communication with such individuals as Stanley Krippner, Colin Wilson, Robert Anton Wilson & numerous others...

It was an interesting Time in hindsight, which showed me how my rather odd Ideas affected others to respond.

Of prior time I was illustrating Short Story Books & Magazines for the British Fantasy Society as well as professionally Illustrating now defunct Role-Playing-Game Magazines. I also worked for IPC-Magazines illustrating a few Future Shocks & back covers for the Comic 2000AD before it was taken over by Rebellion Studios as well as doing a stint at Games Studio for their publication White Dwarf.

As of present, my orientation is far more to do with Art rather than that of the Commercial but the two do flow into each other; however I prefer to do my own Work now rather than to Commercially work for others.

Take Care

Mark Dunn
